Obama and Change

Change is an ambiguous word and we all know that it is the only constant in our life now. Websters definition of change is making an essential difference often amounting to a loss of original identity. And IT is the anthem of the Obama campaign, something that thousands of foot stomping, flag-bearing people chanted and millions heard while watching the Democratic National Convention last night.

Obama has indeed started a movement. A movement to take this country forward. He has converted people into believers, followers and with his charisma and conviction has won the trust and confidence of the American people. His acceptance speech last night was historic and electrifying. It was a defining moment not only for the democrats and American politics but also for the nation.

But will he succeed? Can he do it? Will he be able to make 'the essential difference' and deliver a path for change? That's left to be seen but I must hand it to this man. He truly is awe-inspiring.
