Pausch Inspires Graduates

Randy Pausch's commencement speech to CMU graduates, May 2008. He said:

Its not things we do that we regret when we are on our deathbed. Its things we didn't do.

The unchanging fact is that death (referred to as 'the Grim Reaper' by Dr. Pausch) will come for every single one of us. To beat the Grim Reaper, a person has to live well and live fully. And to do so, you must find your passion.
Find your passion. Some of you may have already found it, while others may take years to do so. But don't give up. Follow it.
You will not find passion in things, money, rewards and other material things. It must come from things that fill a person from the inside. It must always be grounded in people. It is about the relationships you have with other people, and how you are able to gain the trust, respect and love of those around you.

Profound and wise words from a man whose life was cut short by cancer. He was only 47.
