Unwell

Little A has had Croup since Saturday. She hasn’t eaten a proper meal, has a stomach bug (nasty, stinky poop!) and is not her usual self. Just like any other infant when unwell, is whiny, cranky and clingy. And, she just wants ME! Although it makes me feel wonderful to get all this attention, I am completely overwhelmed. I miss her exuberance and playfulness as she just wants to be on my lap and held for hours on end.

I hope she feels better soon.

And to make matters worse, I have come down with a cold too. My head hurts and feels heavy, my entire body aches and my throat is scratchy-as if something's stuck in it!

I feel lousy! What a way to start the new year eh? Sigh!
