I just haven't had the time to update my space. I am simply pressed for time! 24 hours isn't enough any more. Work has been unusually hectic for the past few weeks. No breathers whatsoever. I like the busy-ness of if it all but I think it is taking it's toll on me.
Kids are growing up fast. I have barely spent any quality time with them. By the time I get home and get dinner organized, it is bedtime for them. Hubby dear is trying hard to keep the sanity intact by doing his bit.
A is almost sitting up now, although a bit wobbly. She dislikes being alone and makes it known when we sometimes leave her alone in the highchair, which normally isn't for more than a minute. I think she will be quite a feisty kid. It is wonderful to watch D interact with her. She keenly observes her big brother and his antics and sometime has this very quizzical look on her face, as if she is almost saying, "What is this guy up to?. Is he nuts?". D, of course is oblivious to all of this. He is a 'big' 3 year old who often tries our patience nowadays. His favorite word is "no" and is not at all interested in following directions! Hubby and I are hoping and praying fervently that this is just another phase and this shall pass too!
Just found out the other day that he has allergies. It is quite frustrating to see a little kid go through this- red puffy eyes, runny nose and constant sneezing. I am not sure if there really is a cure for this and I think D will just have to make certain adjustments as this is probably something that will recur every year. He doesn't seem to be majorly effected by it although at times it is heartening to see him rub his eyes and hear him sniffle.
Nevertheless, summer is almost in. I look forward to spending some quality time with my family, especially my two little munckins. And we will make sure that this one will be fun, happy, adventurous and will be remembered as one of the best summers we have had!
