This morning's conversation went like this....
Me: What did you do with Cameron yesterday at day care? Did you play with her?
D: Yes, Mama. I kissed her throughout the day!
This is my 3 year old talking. What am I supposed to make of this? He can't even say his 'colors' or 'shapes' properly but has managed to earn himself the reputation of a 'Casanova' at his day care. Ever since he started, at the age of one and a half years, he has succeeded in having a string of girlfriends. Some have been kissed so hard that they had to be tended to! And some , of course have been forgotten and their hearts broken!
Nobody is happier than my dad to hear about his grandson's escapades. I remember his reaction the first time I told him about D and his girls. I have never heard my dad laugh so hard and this is what he had to say, very proudly:
Good for him! After all, kaar naati? (whose grandson is he?)
Tell me...really....what do I make of this?
