It's almost Christmas. The parking lot is barren and so are the hallways. You hear an occasional cheer reminding you of the beauty and wonder of this season. I am typing away on my keyboard, busy updating a few things here and there, listening to Pandora and then I hear your song....Lady!
I grew up on your music, Mr.Glen Shorrock et al. Thanks to my brothers who introduced me to your beautiful, melodious at times edgy music. We were proud owners of several VHS's of your live performances- videos that we often used to watch and sing along. On clear, starry nights, the guitars used to come out and we'd jam until daybreak, singing many of your famous songs over countless cups of hot cocoa and chai.
Little River Band...you guys rocked and you still do!!! I am sitting here, this cold wintry Christmas Eve morning, looking back on some of my best childhood memories - R-E-M-I-N-I-S-C-I-N-G.
